05:14 pm - Sherlock Holmes: The Legend Begins
Andrew Lane has written an "authorized" Young Adult series of Young Sherlock Holmes books, starting with Death Cloud and Rebel Fire (in the U.S.--there are a total of five books so far in the U.K.). The books feature a 14 year old Sherlock Holmes and show how Sherlock Holmes acquired some of the traits mentioned in the Arthur Conan Doyle series, such as his logical and deductive thinking, his interest in beekeeping, boxing and the violin.
I haven't had time to have the pleasure of keeping up for the past year (days, months , years are flying for me) I haven't read a book in 3 years (how bad is that! I have been working 6 days a week - my excuse :-)) I have been struggling to get my life together (only taken me 3 years) and still going. I have a wonderful job (wines, right up my alley ha ha) I have been there over a year now. I am in the process of finally buying my own home after a terrible divorce...the rainbow is there for me now, gone are the storms with lightning and rain. Daughter 19 is a 2nd year nurse now and Daughter 16 is going strong to be a teacher and Uni is just around the corner to start the process of life for her. One down, One to go! I hope you are happy, and the Sunshine Coast is still beautiful, peaceful, and magical. The Loo With A View is still there, and alot of new cafes and restaurants... loving it! :-) Nice to see you!
